Burger Meat
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Burger Bowls
- 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup diced red onion
- 1 cup dill pickle slices
- 1 avocado sliced (optional)
- 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
Sauce
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon pickle relish
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
Step 1: Cook the Ground Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
Sprinkle the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Burger Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Assemble the Burger Bowls
Divide the chopped romaine lettuce evenly among four serving bowls.
Top each bowl with seasoned ground beef, cherry tomatoes, cheddar cheese, red onion, pickle slices, avocado (if using), and crumbled bacon.
- Ground turkey or ground chicken can be substituted for the beef.
- Add sliced jalapeños for a spicy burger bowl.
- Store ingredients separately for meal prep and assemble just before serving.
- The burger sauce can be made up to 3 days in advance and refrigerated.
