Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons homemade lavender syrup
  • 1 cup whole milk)
  • ½ freshly brewed coffee or 2 shots espresso
  • Ice for iced option

Instructions

For Iced Latte:

  • Brew ½ cup of strong coffee or pull a double shot of espresso.
  • In a glass, combine coffee and lavender syrup
  • Add ice, then pour in whole milk.
  • Top with a little more coffee and gently stir.
  • Garnish with a sprig of lavender, if desired.

For Hot Latte:

  • Brew your coffee or espresso.
  • Gently warm the milk on the stovetop (optional: froth for foam).
  • Stir lavender syrup into the hot milk.
  • Pour the milk mixture into a mug, followed by the coffee.
  • Top with frothed milk or a dusting of dried lavender.

Notes

  • Raw milk adds rich flavor and nutrients, but whole milk or non-dairy milk work too.
  • For stronger floral flavor, use an extra ½ tablespoon of lavender syrup.
  • Store homemade lavender syrup in the fridge and use within 2–3 weeks.
