Ingredients

  • 2 3.9 oz boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 cups cold milk
  • 1 package Oreo cookies about 14–16 oz, crushed
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 8 oz container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 package gummy worms
  • Optional: extra whipped topping for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, until thickened.
  • Let the pudding sit for 3–5 minutes to fully set.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in the mini chocolate chips for a little chocolatey crunch.

In serving cups, layer the dessert:

  • Start with a layer of crushed Oreos (the “dirt”)
  • Add a layer of pudding mixture
  • Repeat layers until cups are full
  • Finish with a generous sprinkle of crushed Oreos on top.
  • Add gummy worms on top, letting some hang over the sides for a fun look.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use a food processor for fine cookie crumbs
