- 1 3.9 oz box instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup Cool Whip thawed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Mini chocolate chips optional
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened.
Let the pudding sit for 3 to 5 minutes so it can fully set and thicken.
Gently fold in the Cool Whip and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and fully combined.
If desired, stir in mini chocolate chips for extra texture and chocolate flavor.
Spoon or pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little room at the top for expansion while freezing.
Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 8 hours, or until completely firm.
To remove the popsicles from the molds, run warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds before serving.
- Whole milk creates the creamiest texture, but coconut milk can also be used.
- Store leftover popsicles in an airtight container or freezer-safe container to help prevent freezer burn.
- Add a pinch of salt or extra chocolate chips for even richer flavor.
- If you do not have popsicle molds, use paper cups and wooden popsicle sticks instead.
